Lucille G. Tenorio, 81, of Sanford, formerly of Cayuga, NY, died March 25, 2015, at the Four Seasons Assisted Living Facility.



Viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 30th at Baldwin Fairchild Goldenrod Chapel at 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32792. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday 10 am, March 31st, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 5300 Old Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, Florida 32792. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery at 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida, 32817 directly following the...

Lucille G. Tenorio, 81, of Sanford, formerly of Cayuga, NY, died March 25, 2015, at the Four Seasons Assisted Living Facility.

She was born August 18, 1933, in Cayuga, NY, to Louis and Susan Salato. Her father worked for the railroad for over 50 years in the Finger Lakes area of New York. Her mother was both a homemaker and worked for GE in Auburn, NY, until she retired.



Lucille married David Tenorio in 1952, and moved to Detroit, MI, in 1955. She had four children and was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She also worked at the Bell System until retirement.



Her interests included raising her children, working in the grocery store she and her husband owned, cooking, family time, pets, and card playing. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members until she passed away at age 81.



Lucille is survived by her brother, Louis Salato, Jr. and wife, Mary Jane; her four children including daughter Susan T. Burtis and her husband, Fred; son David L. Tenorio and his wife, Susan; son James D. Tenorio and his wife, Cynthia; and son Chris T. Tenorio and partner, Hazel; as well as two grandchildren, Jessica and Kimberly; and two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Tobias.



Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, David.
